Annastella Vester

Annastella Vester was born in Milan, Italy. After high school she moved to France, where she received her Master’s Degree in Italian Literature from the University of Grenoble III. She received her Ph.D. in Contemporary Italian Literature from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2002. Her research focuses on the relationship between Italian intellectuals and fascism. Currently she is the Italian Studies Coordinator and she supervises the Italian teaching assistants. She teaches Italian language and upper-division courses including advanced conversation, Italian literature, Italian civilization, Italian cinema, Italian-American Immigration. She also co-directs a summer faculty-led program in Nettuno, Italy.
